Project Overview

Situated in Xuan Truong Ward, Nam Dinh Province, Smart Shirt Textile's manufacturing facility has been transformed with a 2.5MWp (2.25MWac) commercial and industrial (C&I) photovoltaic (PV) system. This rooftop solar installation, operational since Q4 2023, is designed for self-consumption, ensuring that every kilowatt-hour generated is utilized directly by the factory. To optimize energy management, the investor has integrated a Smart Energy Management (SEM) unit, enabling zero-export functionality. This innovative feature ensures that no excess solar power is fed back into the grid, maximizing the factory's self-consumption and reducing its reliance on traditional energy sources.

Growatt-MAX125KTL3-X-LV Benefits Functions

At the heart of this solar power system are 18 Growatt MAX 125KTL3-X LV inverters, renowned for their exceptional performance and reliability. These inverters are designed to convert the direct current (DC) generated by the solar panels into alternating current (AC) for seamless integration into the factory's electrical infrastructure. 

Key features of the Growatt MAX 125KTL3-X LV inverters include:

• Multiple MPPTs Design: With up to 10 Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs), these inverters ensure optimal energy yield by allowing each string to operate at its maximum efficiency. 

• High Power Module Compatibility: The inverters are compatible with high power and bi-facial modules, making them versatile for various solar panel types. 

• DC/AC Ratio: A high DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5 allows for greater flexibility in system design and higher energy yields.

• High efficiency of up to 98.7%. 

• AFCI Protection: Active Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) protection enhances safety by detecting and mitigating arc faults. 

• Type II SPD: Surge Protection Devices (SPD) on both DC and AC sides provide robust protection against electrical surges. 

• IP66 Protection Degree: The inverters are designed with an IP66 protection rating, ensuring durability and reliability in harsh environmental conditions.

• Cable Compatibility: Compatible with both aluminum (AI) and copper (Cu) AC cables, offering flexibility in installation. 

• DC 2 in 1 Connection: This feature simplifies the connection process, reducing installation time and costs. 

• PLC Communication: Optional Power Line Communication (PLC) facilitates efficient data transmission and system monitoring. 

• Smart O&M has intelligent string monitoring, IV curve scanning, one-click diagnosis, and remote online maintenance to reduce O&M costs. 

These advanced features ensure that the Growatt MAX 125KTL3-X LV inverters deliver superior performance, reliability, and efficiency, making them an ideal choice for the Smart Shirt Textile manufacturing facility's solar power system.
