Growatt Launches RISE 261H-XH, an All-in-One Hybrid Energy Storage System for Faster, Smarter C&I Deployment

To support this shift, Growatt has launched the new RISE 261H-XH, an all-in-one hybrid energy storage system designed for C&I and larger-scale energy applications. By integrating PV input, battery storage, diesel generator compatibility, and smart load control into one prefabricated system, RISE 261H-XH helps simplify project design and installation while giving users more flexibility in how they manage energy on site.

“C&I energy systems are becoming more dynamic, and customers need solutions that can do more than store power,” said Lisa Zhang, VP of Growatt. “With RISE 261H-XH, we wanted to create a highly integrated system that brings solar, battery, and generator support together in one platform, so users can deploy faster, operate smarter, and scale with confidence.”

Built with a highly integrated design, RISE 261H-XH comes fully pre-assembled for plug-and-play deployment. It supports 10 MPPTs, a 2.0 DC/AC ratio, and fast on-grid/off-grid switching within 10 ms, making it suitable for sites that need both daily energy optimization and dependable backup power. The system also supports 100% three-phase unbalanced load in backup mode and provides 160% rated AC overload capacity for 10 seconds, helping it respond to demanding operating conditions.

At the core of the system is a 261 kWh LFP battery based on 3.2 V / 314 Ah cells, with 95% depth of discharge. To support stable operation, the battery uses liquid cooling, while the PCS uses smart air cooling. The system is also designed to keep the cell temperature difference within 3°C, helping improve thermal consistency across operating environments.

The RISE 261H-XH series is available in 50 kW, 63 kW, 85 kW, and 125 kW configurations, all based on the same 261 kWh energy storage platform. For larger projects, it can be scaled up to 10 units, reaching up to 1.25 MW / 2.61 MWh. This gives customers a practical path from standalone C&I projects to larger multi-unit deployments without switching to a different platform.

The system also supports GEN/AC-coupled input and smart load connection, making it suitable for applications such as self-consumption, backup power, peak shaving, time-of-use management, grid support, diesel hybrid systems, and AC-coupled energy storage. With IP55 protection, operation at up to 3,000 m altitude, and a multi-level fire protection design, RISE 261H-XH is built for real-world energy storage projects where safety, performance, and deployment speed all matter.
