Solar Energy Helps Rural Producer Reduce Electricity Costs by R$9,000 Monthly

A farm in Luiziana, Paraná, has embraced the power of solar energy, dramatically reducing its monthly electricity expenses by R$9,000. This significant cost-saving measure allows the farm to reinvest in property improvements and expand operations. 

Solar energy has established itself as an effective solution for rural properties, offering a clean and renewable energy source that contributes to reducing operating costs and promotes sustainability in the countryside. 

By adopting photovoltaic systems (PV Systems), rural producers can achieve greater energy autonomy, minimize environmental impacts and improve the efficiency of their agricultural activities. An example of this trend is observed on a farm located in Luiziana , in the interior of Paraná, which implemented a 112 kWp solar plant to meet its energy needs. 

EJS Solar installed a robust solar system comprising 238 Jinko Solar modules and three Growatt inverters, generating a powerful 75 kW capacity with a monthly energy production of 14,000 kWh. With an investment of approximately R$280,000, the farm now saves around R$9,000 per month on its electricity bill, allowing these resources to be allocated to improvements and other investments, increasing its assets.
